C-Bus Interfaces

The ARENA C-Bus Interfaces deliver exceptional price/performance to meet the requirements of both building owners and service providers. With their combination of scalable performance, density, and low per-port pricing, the devices allow network-layer capabilities to be extended to a much wider range of network configurations and environments.

Customers gain the advantages of high-performance network and services, including traffic management to more locations throughout the network. The CLIF-CBUS1-PC supports a single RS485 DC coupled C-Bus-compatible communication channel (capable of rates of up to 76.8 kbps) for CentraLine family devices, and single RS232 and 10Base T-interfaces.

The devices use the LAN connection to provide seamless communication to the requesting device. Status information like: “LAN communication activity”, “field bus traffic communication”, and “system heart beat” are indicated by LEDs located on the front of the device.
