Onity also offers RFID (radio frequency identification)
keycards and various credentials. Because RFID
communicates with radio waves, different credentials
can act as keys, including keyfobs, wristbands and other
devices. Entry for your guests is much quicker and more
efficient than magnetic keycards because RFID keycards
and credentials do not have to be swiped.
In addition to being easier for your guests, RFID keycards
and credentials are more reliable than magstripe
keycards. Unlike magstripe, RFID cannot become
demagnetized, so guest will not have to replace their
keycards as often.
• Available RFID options: MIFARE Classic®, MIFARE
Plus®, MIFARE Ultralight®, and MIFARE Ultralight C
• Reading technology: contactless RFID (ISO14443A,
NFC)
