The Honeywell 14507678-005 Ethernet Port Surge Protector minimizes electrical transients in network equipment and data connections. It is installed in the Ethernet cable between outside wiring and protected data equipment located inside the building. Using standard RJ-45 connectors for both the input and output, it is designed for use on data circuits operating at less than 5 volts with a maximum continuous current of 0.50 Amps. The surge current rating is 20kA/pair with a spike power handling of up to 144W. The Honeywell 14507678-005 Ethernet Port Surge Protector is designed for installation indoors in a dry location.
