5496 and 5499 Power Expanders are 6A or 9A notification power expanders that provide their own AC power connection, battery charging circuit, and backup battery for use with fire alarm control panels. They have a switch-mode power supply design that is up to 50% more efficient than competitive linear-mode power supplies.
