The TS-5006-RD and TS-5012-RD Series rigid averaging sensors are both non-polarity and non-position sensitive. These averaging sensors may be used for Monitoring Return Air Temperature, Mixed Air Temperature, Discharge Air Temperature.
The TS-5006-RD and TS-5012-RD Series rigid copper averaging temperature sensors have an output of 3K Ohms at 77F (25C) and 10K Ohms (Type II) at 77F (25C). The rigid averaging temperature sensors have an overall sensor accuracy of ± 0.36F (0.2C) over the range of 32 to 158F (0 to 70C). Each of the rigid copper averaging temperature sensors shall have two 12” (304.8 mm) 26 AWG colored Etched Teflon lead wires enclosed in a single gang galvanized junction box. Each sensor is made of a soft annealed copper tube that is hermetically sealed at both ends. The rigid averaging temperature sensors should be used in environments where the operating temperature is between -22 to 185F (-30 to 85C).
