The ACI Thermowell Series comes in various lengths and materials. The standard material is 304 stainless steel which ensures long lasting reliability and stability. They are also offered in Monel which is ideal for marine, or salt water, applications. The entire series is miled to high tolarence so there is a negligible gap between the thermowell sheath and probe. This provides maximum heat transfer when used with a corresponding ACI sensor. For fabricated thermowells, the shealth is set into the nut and then automated TIG welded from its own material to provide the strongest possible joint. For machined wells, the wells are machined from silid bar stock using advanced CNC machinery.
