Electronic smart touch sensor bar exit devices provide clean, contemporary design and use two redundant detection systems to sense an exit request. The first detection system is a capacitance touch sense when a person touches the metal portion of the bar; the second is an invisible infrared light beam, which is directed across the front of the bar. The bar is constructed of heavy duty aluminum extrusion. These sensors requires 12 to 24V DC linear power supply.
