Intelligent Control Module

The CMX-7C-E is a compact addressable module which contains one control output, provides a circuit for Notification Appliances such as horns, strobes, speakers etc. Addressability allows the CMX-7C-E to be activated, either manually or through panel programming, on a select (zone or area of coverage) basis.

The CMX-7C-E is used to switch 24VDC audible/ visual power or high-level audio (speakers). Each CMX-7C-E uses one of 101 to 199 possible module addresses on a SLC loop. It responds to regular polls from the control panel and reports its type and status, including the open/ normal/ short status of its Notification Appliance Circuit. CMX-7C-E Control Module is compatible with the NOTIFIER® N-6000 Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP).

The CMX-7C-E control module can be mounted directly to a 50 to 100 mm junction box.
