Esser-eff alarm is a hold-open systems for fire barriers consist of a release device and a hold-open device. Hold-open systems are used to delimit buildings and objects in closed fire compartments to protect people and property. They enable the fire doors to be closed in good time in the fire sections affected by a fire. This prevents the flames from spreading or the fire from spreading to adjacent areas of the building, and unaffected building sections and people are protected from the smoke of the fire. The triggering device consists of the smoke switch, fire alarm and the trigger button. The products presented in the chapter on locking systems are divided into the Albstadt system (old eff Alarm product line) and the Neuss system (old ESSER product line).
