FO switch for Ethernet ring, single mode are used for setting up an Ethernet network in a ring topology for voice alarm systems. They are suitable for single mode fibers 9/125 µm and 10/125 µm. Due to the ring structure, the network is fully redundant, since in the event of a fiber optic fiber break, communication can continue over the other side of the ring. In addition, each switch has two operating voltage inputs (24V DC) and a relay for forwarding a fault message.
