Training objective:
Participants will gain knowledge regarding the construction, design principles, installation, and application of various types of specialized fire detection sensors.
The training is conducted online in three sessions, with one session held per day. Start time: 9:00
Training program:
Day 1
Aspirating smoke detectors (FAAST LT EB, FAAST FLEX, VESDA):
- PN EN 54-20 standard for aspirating systems; device certification
- Application areas for aspirating systems and design principles
- Installation of aspirating pipework
- FAAST LT detector – construction and specifications
- Designing FAAST systems using PipeIQ8 software
- VESDA detectors – overview of available models and their functions
- Project design using Aspire software
- FAAST Flex detector – construction and specifications
Day 2
Flame detectors (Univario, FSX, FSL)
- PN EN 54-10 standard for flame detectors; detector classes
- Univario UV and Univario 3IR detectors – construction and characteristics
- FSL100 UV, IR, and 3IR detectors – construction and characteristics
- FS20X UV/VIS/2IR and FS24X VIS/3IR detectors – construction and characteristics
- Mounting and protective accessories for FSX detectors
- Flame detector application areas – design and selection principles
- Monitoring, power supply, and resetting of flame detectors
Day 3
Linear smoke detectors (Fireray, OSID)
- PN EN 54-12 standard for linear smoke detectors; device certification
- Fireray 5000 linear detectors – construction and characteristics
- Configuration and calibration of the Fireray 5000 detector
- Mounting and testing accessories for linear smoke detectors
- Designing linear detector systems ...smoke detectors, common design and installation errors
- Application areas for linear smoke detectors – design principles
- Dual-wavelength linear smoke detectors (OSID) – construction and characteristics
DTS linear heat detector
- PN-EN 54-22 standard for linear heat detectors; detector classification
- Operating principle and construction of the DTS linear heat detector
- Construction, types, and characteristics of the FRNC fiber-optic sensor cable
- Performance parameters and applications of the fiber-optic linear heat detector
- Typical application areas and design principles
- Configuration of detection zones and alarm criteria
- Temperature distribution measurement along the sensor cable
- Monitoring via a master fire alarm system and visualization system
- Anchors and mounting brackets for the sensor cable
