VESDA-E Aspirating Smoke Detector ( ASD)

For decades, the VESDA range of aspirating smoke detectors (ASD) have been recognized as the best in the world. The new VESDA-E range exceeds previous VESDA detectors with many enhanced features, including dramatically increased sensitivity – up to 15 times greater than previous models; flexibility for deployment in a wide variety of applications; multi-port addressability; unparalleled connectivity & expansion options; and, field upgradability. All these features combine to make VESDA-E the best choice for early warning of smoke and fire threats. VESDA-E's sensitivity, flexibility, reliability, programmability, and expandability provides customers with superior performance and protection, while lowering the total cost of ownership (TCO).
  • VESDA-E VEU
    Aspirating Smoke Detector (Highest Sensitivity ASD)

    The VEU series of aspirating smoke detectors are the premium detector of the VESDA-E range. An Ultra-wide sensitivity range; 15 times greater than VESDA VLP, and provision for more sampling holes provide an increased coverage in high airflow applications by at least 40%. Considerably longer linear pipe runs and extended branched pipe network configurations cater perfectly to applications with higher ceilings providing an increased coverage by up to 80% whilst allowing convenient detector mounting for ease of service and maintenance. A range of revolutionary new features provide unsurpassed detection performance, flexibility, field programmability, connectivity and reduced total cost of ownership.

    Aspirating Smoke Detector (Mainstream ASD)

    The VESDA-E VEP series of smoke detectors bring the latest and most advanced detection technology to provide very early warning and the best nuisance alarm rejection to a wide range of applications. Built on the Flair detection technology and years of application experience, VEP detectors achieve consistent performance over their lifetime via absolute calibration. In addition, the VEP delivers a range of revolutionary features that provide user value.
  • VESDA-E VEA
    Addressable Aspirating Smoke Detector (Pinpoint ASD)

    VEA combines VESDA reliability & early warning smoke detection with pinpoint addressability. VEA uses patented multi-channel microbore tubes & patented air-sampling points with three sensitivity settings. VEA divides a protected space into sampling locations, to pinpoint threats for faster response. Features include field programmability, enhanced connectivity, and centralized test & maintenance to provide reduced total cost of ownership.
  • Automated Pipe Cleaning

    The Automated Pipe Cleaning StaX improves performance and minimizes maintenance costs in dusty environments. During pipe cleaning, it forces an air pressure wave to travel out along the pipe network. This changes the pressure within the pipe to be above atmospheric pressure so that air flows out of the pipe carrying built-up dust and lint with it.
  • Power Supply Unit (PSU)

    The PSU StaX is an integrated power supply providing operating power including battery backup for VESDA-E detectors. It provides 24 volt operating power as well as a battery charger function that supervises and maintains the standby batteries.

VESDA LaserFocus Aspirating Smoke Detector (VLF)

The VESDA VLF by Xtralis is an aspirating smoke detector ideal for small, business-critical spaces. Available in two models, the VLF-250 covers up to 250 m2 (2,690 sq. ft.), and the VLF-500 covers areas up to 500 m2 (5,380 sq. ft.).
  • VESDA VLF 250

    The VESDA VLF-250 detector is a very early warning smoke detector designed to protect small, business-critical environments of less than 250 m2 (2,690 sq. ft.). The detector works by continually drawing air into sampling holes in a pipe network. The air is filtered and passed into a detection chamber where light scattering technology detects the presence of very small amounts of smoke. Detector status information is communicated on the detector display and via relays or optional interface cards.
  • VESDA VLF 500

    The VESDA VLF-500 detector is a very early warning smoke detector designed to protect small, business-critical environments of less than 500 m2 (5,380 sq. ft.) The detector works by continually drawing air into sampling holes in a pipe network. The air is filtered and passed into a detection chamber where lightscattering technology detects the presence of very small amounts of smoke. Detector status information is communicated on the detector display and viarelays or optional interface cards.
  • VESDA Sensepoint XCL
    Micro Bore Aspirating Gas Detector

    VESDA Sensepoint XCL provides early warning of the presence of gases for occupant protection and system monitoring whilst at the same time ensuring protection against fire threats. Through its embedded Bluetooth interface, VESDA Sensepoint XCL enables customers to pair the gas detector with their smart device applications to perform installation, commissioning and maintenance. This ensures a faster VESDA Sensepoint XCL installation, rapid configuration, simplicity to operate, and simplified maintenance.

  • OSID-DE (Dual Ended)
    Smoke Beam Detector

    Open-area Smoke Imaging Detection (OSID) provides projected beam smoke detection technology. By using advanced dual wavelength projected beams and optical imaging technology for early warning smoke detection, OSID provides a low-cost, reliable and easy-to-install solution that overcomes typical beam detection issues such as false alarm incidents and alignment difficulties.

  • LI-ION TAMER
    Lithium Ion Battery Rack Monitoring System

    The Li-ion Tamer Rack Monitoring system is a device that monitors lithium-ion battery off-gas events. Off-gas events occur early in the failure mode of lithium-ion batteries and very early detection of these events allow proper mitigation steps to be taken to avoid a catastrophic thermal runaway failure. The Li-ion Tamer Rack Monitoring system is designed to be plug-and-play, easily to install and consists of two primary components, (i) off-gas sensors, (ii) controller.
