Fibre Optic Convertors are required for connection of digital call stations DCS or universal interface module UIM to VARIODYN D1. If the system is in use for VA purposes, it is necessary to provide power either from 24 V DC source or from a battery.

Fibre Optic Convertors are required for connection of digital call stations DCS or universal interface module UIM to VARIODYN D1. In the case of safety-relevant systems, the voltage supply must come from the 24 V DC emergency power supply of the voice alarm system or via an external power supply unit.
