The course will provide an overview of programming and basic components for the NFS2-640/320, NFS2-3030, and N16 systems. Key topics include device management on existing SLCs, auto programming, zone programming, device Type Codes, Walk Test procedures, annunciator mapping, and configuration. Additionally, the installation and configuration of remote displays, understanding trouble codes, and basic logic equations (AND, OR, NOT) will be covered. Participants will also learn to utilize VeriFire tools for uploads, downloads, and banner editing, use the AMPS24 intelligent power supply programming application, and see an overview of a NOTIFIER Network (DVC components and message programming are covered in the advanced course).
After a successful completion of this 4-day course, you will need to pass an online written exam, which will take approximately 3.5 hours. This brings the total course duration to 35.5 hours. A one-year certification will be issued upon passing the exam.
