The biggest challenges in public buildings, such as libraries, universities or town halls, are essentially two things: They are frequented by a large crowd and they can contain valuable assets. Of course, human safety has always top priority, but here also the protection of assets becomes quite significant. Further, environmental conditions in museums or historical buildings require more sophisticated solutions, as well as e.g. correctional facilities with their special safety requirements.
