VeriFire Tools version 12.55 is the next generation programming and test utility for the N16, NFS-3030, NFS2-3030, NFS-640, NFS2-640, NFS-320, UDACT-2, NCA, NCA-2, NCD, LCD2-80 in ACS mode, DVC-RPU, DVC and associated DAA, DAA2 and DAX amplifiers and DS-DB. Version 12.xx has a security feature which requires the user (technician, programmer, etc.) to have an active license to perform online functions; such as upload/download. Basic users will have access to all offline functions; such as editing device labels or running reports.

Version 12.55 supports the following Operating Systems/Platforms:

• Windows 10 Professional/Enterprise 64 bit editions*
• Window Surface Pro 3 and Pro 4 tablets

* The below versions are no longer supported.

• Windows 7 Professional/Ultimate 32 and 64 bit editions
• Windows 8 & 8.1 Professional/Enterprise 32 and 64 bit editions
• Windows 10 Professional/Enterprise 32-bit editions

When upgrading the Windows® Operating System (OS) of computers with software programs such as VeriFire Tools installed, Microsoft and NOTIFIER recommends uninstalling the programs prior to upgrading the OS, and then reinstall the programs after the upgrade has been successfully performed. This practice will help ensure the correct USB driver files are installed and available for use with applicable hardware and that the application performs reliably.

NOTES: The user must select the appropriate Panel Database Version when creating a new database. Use the ‘Panel’s Database Version’ drop down box to select the correct version.

• Upload/download serial cable (PN 75554)
• Upload/download High-Speed USB cable; type ‘A’ to type ‘B&rsquo, Type ‘C’ for N16;
• VeriFire Tools version 12.55
• Minimum Computer system requirements
  • For Windows 10 Professional/Enterprise systems:
    • PC or laptop with 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x86) processor.
    • 1 GB RAM

VeriFire Tools 12.55 is not compatible with NCS and should not be installed on NCS or used to program any ONYX series panels that reside on NOTI-FIRE-NET with an NCS.
