Aspirating Smoke Detection (ASD)
VESDA® & FAAST® aspirating smoke detection solutions with continuous air sampling give you the earliest possible warning, to react in time to prevent injury, property damage and disruption.
The components of constant air analysis
Our ASDs feature a detection unit, a pipe system and a fan that produces the low pressure needed for air sampling. Our airflow sensor technology monitors the pipe system for breakage and obstruction. Together, they serve as advanced smoke detectors.
Sensitivity, reliability, flexibility
Our internationally respected ASDs offer sensitivity at least three times better that dust rejection. They’re last up to twice as long. They also lower the overall cost of ownership.
FAAST LT-200 ASD
Flexible enough for Class A, B & C
LT-200 serves in broad Class C applications, when aesthetics matter or a system is vulnerable to harsh environments. It’s also suited for Class A and B early warning detection applications.
CUSTOMER SUCCESS STORY
17th century European churches call for delicate fire detection.
The Lutheran Churches of Peace are the largest timber-framed religious buildings in Europe. They needed an unobtrusive fire alarm system that protected their antiquated structures and the 7500 people within them. Find out how we did it.
