Conventional system beam smoke detectors are composed of a single optical unit (TRX) and one or more reflectors or a special pyramidal reflector to be placed on the opposite side. They provide protection range between 40 and 70 meters. They also provides sensitivity and delay time for fault indication and automatic gain dusty compensation for loss of signal. These detectors allows the detection of open fires (flame).
