    Why is a unique Room ID (RID) required in the e7 thermostat?

    All e7 thermostats are equipped with an RF radio that enables the thermostat to communicate to in-room devices like wireless entry door switches and to a wider network router for centrally controlled systems. The Room ID (RID) is used along with the RF channel to group the thermostat and other in-room devices together in each room. Having a unique Room ID in each room prevents cross-talk between rooms. This is why a unique RID is required even in systems with no central network.

    How can I reset and go through Initialization mode again?

    1. Enter SERVICE MODE:
    - Press and hold oF|oC
    - Press and release MODE
    - Press and release FAN
    - Release oF|oC.

    2. Use the UP/DOWN arrow buttons to display rst, then press MODE

    3. Use the DOWN button to select 255

    4. Press FAN

    5. The unit will reset, clear all previous values, and enter INITIALIZATION MODE again.

    Todos los termostatos e7 están equipados con una radio RF que permite que el termostato se comunique con los dispositivos de la habitación, como los interruptores inalámbricos de las puertas de entrada y con un enrutador de red más amplio para sistemas controlados centralmente.     If your E528.4G is part of a centrally controlled network, then you may use the Dialog Command tool in your INNcontrol application to modify settings in your thermostats. If you want to modify settings like your target temperature range or adjust your min and max Un-rented/Unoccupied limits, the INNcontrol software allows you to make these changes to your entire system with just a few clicks.     If you do not have a networked system, a variety of settings may be adjusted using the thermostat service mode. Refer to your property Operating and Maintenance manuals for further instruction on making adjustments using the thermostat service mode.

    What should I check if the E529 is not controlling my HVAC unit?

    The E529 is remotely controlling the HVAC unit via a wireless RF interface to the PC502 radio transceiver which is then connected to a controller like the X47 via our wired 3-conductor S5Bus. First, check to make sure your HVAC unit has power and that all INNCOM components are properly connected per your wiring diagram. If all devices have power and the wiring looks good, try to bind the thermostat to the PC502 radio again using your commissioning document. Also, if your HVAC has the ability to switch between local and remote thermostat control, make sure the unit is set to be controlled by a remote thermostat.

    How do I access service mode on the MODEVA thermostat?

    The MODEVA thermostat does not have a service mode. Typically, an E529.4G battery powered thermostat is used as a hand-held addressing/binding tool in rooms with a MODEVA thermostat. Refer to your property commissioning documentation for further details.

    Do I need to reconfigure ROOM ID, PAN ID and RF channel in the room if I replace the MODEVA thermostat?

    No, if you are just replacing the MODEVA thermostat, there's no need to reconfigure Room ID, PAN ID or RF channel. The MODEVA thermostat does not have an RF radio itself, so the Room ID, PAN ID and RF channel are held in another radio device inside the room (typically a PC502).

This tool allows the property Engineering or Maintenance department managers to modify system settings to a single room, group of rooms and/or broadcast changes system wide.     Why can't I see all the features of my system in INNcontrol 3?

    Feature visibility and controls may be protected by user login requirements. If you are not able to see a feature of your system in the software, try logging in. If you don't have a login or if the feature is still not available after you login, contact your IT department or INNCOM customer service for support (support@inncom.com).

    I want to adjust the available fan speeds for my system, but I don't see that option in the Dialog Command tool. How can I make this change?

    Changes to items like fan mapping are considered to be a significant design change to your system HVAC controls and require consultation with INNCOM technical support to avoid any potential damage to the HVAC units.     Can I save a piece of trend history or capture a particular screen in INNcontrol 3?

    Yes, you may save the image of a visible trend segment or other INNcontrol screen. To save the image to your computer, click the Home menu button and select the "Copy" item from the top menu bar. Next, open a paint, word document or email and paste the copied image into your desired file for saving. To print the visible screen, click the Home menu button and select "Print" from the top menu bar.
