Serial/Parallel Printer Interface Module
ANN-S/PG interface modules connect either a serial or parallel printer with a compatible fire alarm control panel (FACP) to print real-time logs of system events, detector status reports, and event histories.
Overview
ANN-S/PG interface modules connect either a serial or parallel printer with a compatible fire alarm control panel & (FACP) to print real-time logs of system events, detector status reports, and event histories. ANN-S/PG interface modules and FACPs communicate over a 2-wire serial interface employing the ANN-BUS communication format. An additional two wires are used for 24V DC power. A single 4-conductor unshielded cable may be used for both power and data communications. Up to eight ANN-S/PG interface modules may be connected to the ANN-Bus of each FACP.

- Can be remotely located up to 6,000 ft (1,829 m) from the panel
- May be powered by 24V DC from the host FACP or by remote power supply
- Connects a remote printer using a standard cable (DB-9 for a serial printer- DB-25 for a parallel printer)
- Listed to UL Standard 864, 9th Edition
