Commonwealth Communications Upgrades Security for Iowa Western Community College

Systems integrator, Commonwealth Communications provided a major security upgrade

Iowa Western Community College, located in Council Bluffs, Iowa, enrolls 6,000 students, with 1,200 of them living in on-campus housing. The college includes four satellite campus locations. Looking to transition from physical keys and standalone notification systems to a unified electronic solution, the College brought in systems integrator, Commonwealth Communications to provide a major security upgrade.

Commonwealth implemented a LenelS2 NetBox™ access control system which integrates with Allegion Schlage AD- 400 NDE and LE WiFi locks, an intercom system and an expanded video management system. Utilizing a variety of additional third-party integrations, the College can now lock down the campus at the push of a button.
