Founded in 1872, Lander University is a regional, co-educational, four-year university in Greenwood, South Carolina, with approximately 3,500 students. The University wanted to increase security while planning for the future.

Systems integrator, A3 Communications, replaced the University’s legacy access control system with a LenelS2 NetBox system, which provided a robust feature set. To further enhance security, A3 also installed LenelS2 BlueDiamond™ multi-technology readers which can support proximity cards, smart cards and mobile credentials, allowing for a seamless migration path to more secure mobile credentials.
