Aureus Insight Access Control is a facial identity credential and authentication solution designed for FICAM architectures and seamless integration with Lenel/S2 OnGuard. It performs high-speed facial identity verification and securely presents an authenticated Extended ID via Wiegand or OSDP. OnGuard remains the sole authority for all authorization and access decisions, preserving existing security policies while enabling frictionless biometric authentication.

Aureus Insight Access Control interface adds high-performance facial identity verification to Lenel/S2 OnGuard environments. Designed for enterprise and FICAM-oriented deployments, Aureus recognizes an enrolled individual, retrieves the authenticated Extended ID associated with that identity, and presents the credential to the Lenel/S2 access control infrastructure through Wiegand or OSDP. OnGuard remains the system of record and retains full control over access policies, cardholder permissions, schedules, and the final decision to grant or deny entry.

The interface gives Lenel/S2 users a convenient, touchless way to authenticate identity while preserving their established OnGuard workflows and security policies.
