Qognify QVMS SEI Plugin

The Qognify VMS OnGuard Plugin is used to bring OnGuard access control events and metadata in Qognify VMS for real-time alerting and after-the-fact video searches. The plugin uses the OpenAccess API (REST web services, SingalR event bridge) to connect to OnGuard. The plugin supports only transient event subscriptions to OnGuard. This means the plugin will only receive events while the connection to OnGuard is active. Sustained subscription is not supported. The plugin supports the hardware events only.

Qognify VMS SEI Plugin includes:

Obtain a list of devices from OnGuard
Obtain a list of event types from the XML configuration file
Send both lists to Qognify VMS
Select devices to receive events from Qognify VMS
Select which hardware statuses will be pushed into Qognify VMS
Select which events will be pushed into Qognify VMS
Send events from OnGuard to Qognify VMS
Send commands from Qognify VMS to OnGuard
