The RightCrowd SmartAccess interface uses OnGuard OpenAccess to keep cardholders, access levels and credentials in OnGuard always aligned with the organization’s identity data and access policies, without manual re-keying.

OnGuard end users can:

• Add, update and deactivate OnGuard cardholders automatically as identity records change in the organization's source of record, so cardholder data in OnGuard stays current.
• Assign and revoke OnGuard access levels dynamically, based on role, location, employment status, training and policy rules evaluated in RightCrowd SmartAccess.
• Manage the full credential lifecycle - request, approval, issuance, replacement, suspension and revocation - with each change written straight through to the OnGuard badge record.
• Apply time-bound access for contractors, temporary workers and visitors that expires automatically in OnGuard when the end date is reached.
• Run periodic access reviews and attestation campaigns, with approved changes and removals applied directly in OnGuard.
• Use OnGuard events and access history to feed access to decision rules, workflow and management reporting, and to support evacuation and mustering.
