CPD-01 Introduction to BEMS
Description
The aim of this programme is to assist the buildings industry at all levels, this first CPD is very simplistic but it is important to refresh and cement the knowledge base, especially when considering how the applications and technology have gone through some significant developments over the last 5 or 10 years.
Objective
The learning objective for this CPD is to provide a high level overview of all parts of a BEMS.
In Part 1 we will take a look at “Why” we need a BEMS, “How” they are put together and “What” makes up a system.
Moving onto part 2 we look at a typical BEMS architecture, with some component examples, and to conclude, part 3 is a check list of items that we think should be considered when designing a BEMS.
