The NRX-OPT smoke detectors are a battery powered radio-frequency device, designed to be used with the NRXI-GATE radio gateway. It contains a transceiver and is integrated into a fire-fighting system that can be addressed through a proprietary communication protocol.
The unit is an optical smoke detector and should be fixed to the ceiling via the B501RF base. Standby current: 120 μA to 3 V DC (typical in normal operation mode). Red LED Current: 4mA max. Resynchronization time: 35 s (maximum time from turning on the device to normal RF communication when the network is active) Batteries: 4 Duracell Ultra 123 Battery life: 4 years at 25oC Radio frequency: 865-870 MHz; RF output power: 14 dBm (max) Range: 500 m (typical in free air) Relative humidity: 10% to 93% (no condensation).
