PCD7 Converters enable communications to change over from RS-232 to RS-485 and switching from receive to send is controlled externally by means of the RTS signal. The RS-485 connection is electrically isolated from any other potential.

PCD7 Converters enable communications to change over from RS-232 to RS-485 and switching from receive to send is controlled externally by means of the RTS signal. The RS-485 connection is electrically isolated from any other potential. These converters do not have line termination resistors on the RS-485 side. These converters are used exclusively for SBC S-Bus networks.
