Key guards are custom designed plastic box to which a clear plastic window can be fitted in order to retain a key or access control card. A recess enables the operator to remove the window in an emergency to retrieve the key. Immediately the lid is removed an integral electronic sounder warns others in the vicinity that key security has been breached. The lid is designed in such a way that it cannot be refitted after removal. Replacement lids are readily available from local stockists or direct from Holes. The battery can be tested periodically without damaging the lid.
