    Emergency Voice Communication (EVC) and Firefighters’ Telephone System fully compliant with the requirements of BS 5839‑9:2021, incorporating an Emergency Assistance Alarm System in accordance with BS 8300.

    Overview

    An Emergency Voice Communication System (EVCS) is a fixed, secure, bi‑directional, full‑duplex voice communication system designed to support life safety operations within a building.

    The system can provide Disabled Refuge communication and, where required, also function as a Fire Telephone System, enabling reliable voice communication during emergency situations.

    The Honeywell EVCS is available as a 4‑zone or 8‑zone standalone system, as well as a fully networked solution. While suitable for small to medium installations, it is particularly well‑suited to large multi‑storey buildings and campus environments due to its advanced network capability and scalability.
