The DALI Lighting Control System features one or two output channels that can manage up to 64 DALI devices per channel. Each device allows for individual control of switching, dimming, brightness, and color settings. It supports multiple device types, including DT6 for LED dimming, DT8 for color control (RGB, RGBW, XY, and temperature), and DT1 self-contained battery lamps. This versatility enables users to create tailored lighting solutions that accommodate a variety of functions and preferences, ultimately enhancing energy efficiency and user experience.
Features & Benefits:- The features and benefits of the DALI Lighting Control System :
- Output Channel & Device Types: The system offers one or two output channels, each capable of managing up to 64 DALI devices. Each device allows for individual operations, including switching, dimming, setting brightness levels, and controlling color. It supports multiple device types such as DT6 for LED dimming, DT8 for color control, RGB, RGBW, XY Color, and DT1 self-contained battery lamps.
- Group Control: Users can create up to 16 different groups for each channel, assigning DALI devices to these groups via the Device Configuration Application (DCA). This allows for centralized control over switching, dimming, and color settings for each group.
- Monitoring & Security: The system includes monitoring capabilities for DALI bus voltage, current, and the status of any short circuits on the DALI bus. Additionally, it supports the KNX Data Secure feature, enhancing security and reliability.
- DALI Sensor: For each channel, the system can utilize 8 DALI sensors to enable control through motion and brightness detection. Users can recall group scenes or global scenes in DALI channels via KNX scenes. Each channel can access 16 different DALI scenes, and the brightness configurations are managed by the DCA.
- Broadcast Control & Operation Mode: The system allows for broadcast control, including operations for switching, brightness, color temperature, and color control for all DALI devices on a channel. Various operation modes are supported, such as normal mode, normal/night mode, staircase mode, permanent mode, and burn-in mode. There are behavior templates for group and ECG actions which can be set using the DCA. Users can also send status updates for switching, brightness, and operational states. Finally, the system includes fault detection for lamps and ballasts within the DALI setup.
