Metalclad Plus™ - USB Integrated SwitchSocket

The Metalclad Plus™ range includes an extensive number of socket outlets offering USB charging capability. Options are available to charge via Type A and C outputs and now includes a 30W fast-charging USB solution. The new 30W USB Type A+C chargers feature GaN technology and fast charging over the Power Delivery (PD) protocol, efficiently delivering power to a wide range of electronic devices whilst charging them quickly. Available in two high quality powder coated finishes.

• USB charging utilising the Power Delivery (PD) protocol. The charger will communicate directly with connected electronic devices using the PD protocol to negotiate the charging parameters (current & voltage) in order to optimize charging speeds and protect the battery health. A wide variety of electronic devices can be charged, phones can be charged from 0 to 50% in as little as 30 minutes. Circuitry utilises the latest GaN technology allowing a higher power efficiency. Type C charging drives to reducing e waste as defined by EU directive, standby power is less than 100mW The 13A socket outlets have double pole switching as standard and incorporate a 3 pin "child resistant" safety shutter to inhibitaccess to power unless all 3 pins of a 13A plug are inserted. Terminal screws are backed out and in line to allow for ease of installation with the terminals being prominently marked for clear identification. The socket has a 5 year guarantee period.
