Releasing Control Module

Releasing Control Modules are specifically designed for fire suppression releasing applications in FlashScan® systems. They release Power to the agent solenoid which runs through the module for full-time monitoring and supervision.

Overview

Releasing Control Module uses a redundant protocol; the module must be armed with a pair of signals in order to activate. They will then enter a 3-second window awaiting a pair of confirmation signals. If no confirmation is received, the modules will automatically reset. they also supervises the wiring to the connected load and reports the status to the panel as Normal, Open, or Short Circuit. The modules have two pairs of output termination points available for fault-tolerant wiring and a panel-controlled LED indicator.
