Basic ACS-8 System

The basic ACS-8 systems are the forward-looking access control systems which are modular in construction and highly autonomous. They provides flexible and freely-selectable installation technology. This enables conventional connection of up to two separate doors or one door with an internal and external reader. The communication modules allows an extension by means of wire-saving RS-485 bus technology to max. 8 doors. Therefore it is possible to connect online DLC reader modules and DLF electronic fittings on the ACS-8 RS-485 module bus via radio communication.

This ACS-8 systems have two controllable RS-485 interface drivers which are integrated in the communication module and the firmware is completely upgradable. The ACS-8 also contains decision rights for door release and control.
