The sampling pipe shall be installed using appropriate pipe support devices, such as pipe clamps. VESDA pipe clamps are specifically designed to secure air sampling pipework using a quick-clamp mechanism without requiring additional fixings. Featuring excellent resistance to oil and fuel, these clamps are suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments.
Pipe brackets need to be made with the inside diameter of the bracket marginally larger than that of the pipe outer diameter. This allows for free lineal movement of the pipe, and avoids inhibiting expansion or contraction. For proper and long-term stable installation of the piping system, the mounting clamps should be installed at intervals not exceeding 0.8 m
