Farenhyt Recertification - Exam

Instructions/Pre-Requisites

You must complete the following in order:

- CLSS Overview

- CLSS Administrators

- CLSS Technicians

- CLSS Facility Manager Course

- Take the recertification exam

- Complete the Survey within the course on MYHBU

- Print Certification Program Overview

The Certification Maintenance Program simplifies factory recertification on Farenhyt Fire Alarm systems.

Each technician that has a Software Tool License (HFSS) is required to participate in the Certification Maintenance Program. The program provides 4 hours of on-demand learning and an online exam which must be successfully completed annually. Certification maintenance is included with a CLSS Professional Technician subscription.

- This course contains the Exam, before taking this course you must complete the Required course and at least two of the Elective modules in the associated course. Professional Development hours are issued that can be used for many other requirements including NICET continuing education.

Technicians must complete the online examination, with a minimum score of 70% to be eligible to maintain certification. Two chances are provided to pass the exam successfully. Anyone who fails after the second attempt will be required to attend and pass a Farenhyt Certification Training (FCT) Instructor-Led Training (Live or Virtual) Course in order to achieve recertification.
