Notifier Recertification
The Certification Maintenance Program simplifies factory recertification on Honeywell fire alarm systems.
Every technician with a Software Tool License (VERIFire) must participate in the Certification Maintenance Program. The program provides 4 hours of training and an online exam that must be successfully completed annually. Certification maintenance is included with a CLSS Professional Technician subscription. This subscription is annual and is purchased through the CLSS portal.
• 2 hours: Mandatory content directly related to brand-specific fire alarm panel updates and enhancements.
• 2 hours: Choose from a variety of optional training covering related products.
Technicians must complete the online exam with a minimum score of 70% to maintain certification. Two attempts are provided to pass the exam.
Anyone who fails after the second attempt must attend and pass the main instructor-led training course (in-person or virtual) to achieve recertification.
