The UBOX is a set consisting of an online reader incl. all electronics required for connection to the SALTO software and to the RS-485 module bus to connect to ACS-8 or IK3 EU.
Overview
The UBOX is a set consisting of an online reader incl. all electronics required for connection to the SALTO software and to the RS-485 module bus to connect to ACS-8 or IK3 EU. All online readers have read / write function and are connected via Ethernet (TCP/IP) to the workstation the SALTO software is running. The online reader is required for updating of authorizations of transponders and distribution of blacklist information. Bookings and events of doors which are stored on the transponders are read here and transferred to the AC-software. So at least one online reader per system is required.
