Honeywell’s Smart Drive HVAC inverter offers extensive possibilities for stand-alone PID control and Pump and Fan Cascade control. It is an easy-to-use solution for all Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning applications in which speed control of the motor can be applied. Main applications in HVAC are pumps, fans, compressors. It is compact in size and has increased cabling space. PID controller with advanced functionality has sleep mode, pump soft fill, feed forward, pressure loss compensation, etc. It also has an extra PID controller for controlling other devices such as Pump and Fan Cascade (PFC) controller with full auto-change functionality. It has several integrated field buses such as Ethernet (IP) BACnet IP, Modbus TCP/IP, RS485(MS/TP) BACnet MS/TP, Modbus RTU, N2.
