Each unit comes within the same size steel enclosure for ease of use, offering 2.5A or 5A alarm capability. It has site selectable single or twin 24 V dc output and has 24 hour or 72 hour standby capability.

SMS's Transformer Rectifier (TR) range of power supplies have been specifically designed for access control applications that require remote control of the power supply output. TR power supply units are typically used to power door holders with a link to the fire panel in order to switch off the output to the doors upon the activation of a fire alarm.
