The Honeywell K5017 Lighting sensor is a dual-mount PIR Sensor that is easy to install on recessed or surface mounts, making it ideal for most interiors. It has a white finish and is suitable for recessed mounting in to the ceiling. With lighting contributing up to 40% of energy consumption in a commercial dwelling, lighting sensors are a great-way to reduce.
The Honeywell K5017 Lighting sensors detect human presence and switch on the lights. The micro sensitive elements keep the switch on till the space is occupied. The K5017 automatically switches lights on or off, using PIR (Passive InfraRed) sensor technology; which detects motion based on body temperature, ensuring spaces are illuminated only when they are occupied.
