Instructions/Pre-Requisites

You must complete the following in order:

- All modules in this course must be completed

- Two courses from those listed as Elective

- Take the CLSS Notifier Course

- Take the Recertification Exam

- Complete the Survey within the course on MYHBU

- Print certification Program Overview

The Certification Maintenance Program simplifies factory recertification on Honeywell Fire Alarm systems.

Each technician that has a Software Tool License (VERIFire) is required to participate in the Certification Maintenance Program. The program provides 4 hours of on-demand learning and an online exam which must be successfully completed annually. Certification maintenance is included with a CLSS Professional Technician subscription.

Professional Development hours are issued that can be used for many other requirements including NICET continuing education.

Technicians must complete the online examination, with a minimum score of 70% to be eligible to maintain certification. Two chances are provided to pass the exam successfully. Anyone who fails after the second attempt will be required to attend and pass a Notifier University Instructor-Led Training (Live or Virtual) Course in order to achieve recertification.

This course contains prerequisites and the Exam, before taking this course you must complete all modules listed and at least two of the Elective modules in the associated course.
