ACS PRO (ACS-4) Access Control Hardware

The Honeywell ACS PRO controller delivers a flexible and future-ready access control solution for installations ranging from 2 to 16 doors. Designed for easy deployment and everyday usability, it helps organizations secure sites, manage access rights, and adapt quickly as security needs evolve.

Working seamlessly with IQ MultiAccess software, ACS PRO gives users a clear, centralized way to operate and maintain their access control system. Its user-friendly design, broad interface support, and straightforward installation help reduce setup time, simplify system management, and support efficient day-to-day operation.

The license-based concept makes ACS PRO easy to extend system functionality when requirements change—without replacing existing hardware. The modular portfolio of controllers, complete assembliesand housings options allows installers to configure cost-effective solutions that fit the specific conditions of each site.

The ACS PRO Basic Access controller kit supports up to 2 doors out of the box and can be upgraded using ACS-LIC2D or ACS-LIC4D licenses. Once activated through the licensing portal and applied with the ACS PRO Setup tool, the controller can support up to 8, 12, or 16 doors depending on the applied licenses, with the valid door capacity clearly indicated by the RUN LED.

After the first door upgrade, activated extension buses can be connected to Modulbus readers, door modules, input/output modules, and relay modules for applications such as elevator control and door control.

The ACS PRO kit is supplied in a standard metal enclosure with power supply. The ACS PRO controller includes clear connection guidance and can be mounted in wall enclosures such as MPA2ENCME and ACS4ENCMV, or in a 19-inch cabinet using MPACSENCM2U.

ACS PRO operates with IQ MultiAccess V25 SP1 or higher and supports up to 32 RS-485 Modulbus readers and/or up to 4 Clock-Data readers. For systems with more than 8 doors, door control modules or I/O modules are required to physically connect the doors to the controller.

For VdS-compliant access control installations, the Honeywell ACS-4 kit (ACS3004V-MPS) provides a certified intelligent access control solution for up to 4 doors. ACS-4 operates with IQ MultiAccess V25 or higher and supports up to 8 VdS-approved RS-485 Modulbus MIFARE DESFire readers.

For additional reader flexibility, ACS PRO can connect to Modulbus and Clock-Data readers, and can also support OSDP and Wiegand readers through per-reader licenses (ACS-LICOW). Reader license activation is indicated directly by the LED on the board.

ACS PRO also supports IEEE 802.1X compliant networks, helping organizations meet higher IT security standards through a licensed per-panel feature (ACS-LICNAC).
