    DUAL TEC 24G Motion Sensor

    Honeywell's DUAL TEC® 24G high-performance, small form-factor motion sensors combine dual PIR (Passive Infrared) and advanced microwave technology for highly precise motion detection

    Overview

    The Dual Tec DT8xxxF24 wall mounted series of motion detection sensors include a PIR (passive infrared ) sensor combined with 24gz high frequency microwave antenna technology to measure infrared (IR) light radiating from objects in its field of view.

    This motion sensor with multiple patented solutions only detects in the area desired with no unwanted overpenetration of the 24Ghz k-band radar signal to deliver extremely sensitive intrusion detection and improved false alarm immunity. This is unlike other lower frequency motion detection sensors with 10mHz microwave antenna-carrying motion sensors which require several frequencies and have lower detection capabilities.

    Installers will appreciate the simple to install design featuring a convenient wiring channel, knockouts for mounting and wiring, easy access to wiring terminals, and mounting screws conveniently secured inside the housing.

    Features & Benefits:
    • Grade 2 and 3 intrusion motion detection sensors (DT8012 and DT8016 serues) have both Passive Infrared (PIR) and 24Ghz Radar/Microwave technology to precisely detect motion and reduce false alarms – required to comply with EU insurance regulations
    • The new 24Ghz K-band radar allows the DT24G family to detect even slight movements with more precision than other motion detectors utilizing 10Ghz X-Band radar, while reducing unwanted overpenetration of the radar signal
    • 24Ghz radar has worldwide frequency approval, making the Dual Tec 24G series of motion sensors suitable for installation in just about any project, in any jurisdiction
    • Sleek and modern design in Pantone white blends in with any decor
    • Target applications: banking, high end retail/big box stores, high end commercial or industrial locations, data centers
