I/O remote expansion modules are designed for remote monitoring and control applications that enables end-to-end automation and device-to-enterprise integration. These modules expand the controller by adding additional logic-controlled points. This greatly expands the controllers monitoring and control capabilities with fast, reliable, and direct I/O for monitoring power, temperature, humidity and status. The on board I/O can be used to monitor pulse contacts from power/demand meters, analog sensors, or transducers. Additionally they can be used to control energy-consuming devices such as fans, lights or pumps with their digital relay outputs.
