The Selective General Alarm Diffusers by Esser are used where special precautions must be taken to evacuate the public either because of physical disabilities or because of very large numbers of staff, personnel designated for this purpose must be able to be warned by a selective general alarm signal (separate from the general alarm signal when this is also provided) in accordance with the special provisions laid down for this purpose for certain types of establishments.
