A truly intelligent analogue sensor combining local processing in the sensor and the panel to achieve an immediate response to real fires whilst minimising the risk of false alarms. A comprehensive range combining sensor sounder and voice in one multifunctional device.S Quad Optical sensor by Gent is an optical detector wherein optical sensing is performed in the optical chamber using transmitting LED 1 and an infrared receiver. Measurements are taken at regular intervals. The control panel use these readings to detect the presence of smoke.
