    IP VAV Unitary Course

    The IP VAV Unitary Training will introduce students to the overall architecture of the product, as well as the hardware components, basic network setup and controller configurations, and a basic troubleshooting guide.  

    Overview

    The IP VAV Unitary Training will introduce students to the overall architecture of the product, as well as the hardware components, basic network setup and controller configurations, and a basic troubleshooting guide.  

    Students will learn how to identify and address system performance issues that can happen with the IP VAV Unitary device. Students will learn how to Implement tuning policies to adjust polling assignments and heap memory 

    Students will learn how to use the mobile app for VAV balancing in association with the IP VAV Unitary device. Students will learn the steps of the onboarding process, how to configure the device for communication with the mobile app, and how to perform setpoint balancing using the app. 

    By the end of the course, the student will be able to: 

    - Describe the overall architecture 

    - Name hardware components 

    - Apply wiring requirements 

    - Apply network setup 

    - Configure controller 

    - Employ troubleshooting tasks  

    - Identify Performance Issues 

    - Implement Tuning Policy  

    - Configure Polling Assignments and COV Subscriptions 

    - Link Tuning Policy to Proxy Points 

    - Adjust High Heap Memory 

    - Recount onboarding process steps 

    - Perform BLE Configuration 

    - Perform Setpoint Balancing 

    Each section has 6 knowledge checks with a passing score of 80% or higher
