The Stand-Alone Proximity Access Reader from Honeywell offers high reliability, consistent read range characteristics, and low power consumption for extended reader operation while operating on backup batteries. The product uses advanced mounting technology making installation easier. The product consists of a single chip microprocessor which decodes the signal from the card and transmits it to the access control panel, after verification the control panel will take the appropriate action.
