Bullet Cameras

Camera Based Facial Recognition Video Analytics

Protect premises and people utilizing advanced facial recognition technologycombining the power of Honeywell 70 Series IP cameras with Oosto’sOnWatch Real-Time Watchlist Alerting

Overview

Honeywell’s advanced 70 Series AI cameras, combined with Oosto’s OnWatch solution, utilize real-time facial recognition technology (FRT) processed within the camera to quickly pinpoint persons of interest and sort out those that have authorization to be present and those that do not. Real-time alerts enable security teams to quickly react to danger or welcome VIPs while protecting the privacy of bystanders.

The facial recognition software solution may also be used with other conventional cameras, including the Honeywell 30, 35, and 60 series cameras – but will not include all the benefits of edge video processing from within the camera itself.

Utilizing the Oosto OnWatch Solution with a Honeywell camera requires an external server. When using conventional cameras, the system will also require more powerful external server(s) and additional network bandwidth based on the number and type of cameras used.

When ordering, use the HVONW70CAMxxx for licenses for a 70 series dome or bullet camera and HVONWCAMxxx for other dome or bullet models. If you need further assistance, please contact Honeywell Customer Care.

Features & Benefits:
  • Facial recognition algorithm honed for performing in the harshest conditions, including tough angles, poor lighting, image occlusions, and masked faces for fewer false positives
  • Improved accuracy - Video processing is done on the 70 Series camera so no compression artifacts to impact image quality
  • Detect people from a longer distance when using a 70 Series camera versus using a conventional camera without edge processing
  • Reduced bandwidth - 70 Series cameras extract cropped images and facial vectors for facial recognition vs. processing RTSP video streams
  • Optimize energy management when using 70 Series cameras - Fewer servers are needed, lowering both power and cooling requirements
  • Privacy controls - Face blurring of innocent bystanders, privacy controls built into the code, GDPR compliance
